What is demi-fine jewelry?

Don’t worry, you’re not the first person to ask us this, so here’s a crash course in Jewelry 101. There’s costume jewelry, which is a dime a dozen and bound to turn your skin green, not with envy but with tarnish, and there’s fine jewelry which is made with solid gold, sterling silver, platinum and precious stones that cost you an arm and a leg. Demi-fine jewelry hits the sweet spot between the two. Often made with semi-precious stones and plated with silver or gold it lasts long enough to be passed down a generation without costing you a generation’s worth of savings.

How can I take care of my jewelry?

Follow these tips to enjoy our pieces for as long as you can.

Try not to douse your jewelry in creams, lotions or perfume – not to mention hand sanitizer – an amendment we had to add in thanks to 2020.

It would probably be best to avoid bathing or swimming with your jewelry. Think of your accessory as a temperamental cat. Don’t be tempted to get it wet.

Store your jewelry in the individual bags they come in. Accessories are a solitary species and are known to scratch, throw left hooks and tangle when confronted with another accessory.

Revive your jewelry the way you would a genie – by rubbing it with a soft, clean cloth. Making wishes while you do this is optional.

Take your jewelry off before slapping sense into people. Your prized accessories shouldn’t have to suffer for their shortcomings.

Try not to go to bed with your jewelry. Sleep voguing is not actually a thing.

Keep your jewelry away from chemicals, especially chlorine. We do not tolerate substance abuse. Just say, no!

Do you issue warranties for your products?

No. We do not currently issue any warranties for our products.

The item I purchased has broken. Can you fix it?

We are so sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, we cannot mend or replace items that are damaged post-delivery. We would suggest taking your item to a jeweler for mending or placing an order on our website for the same item. If it’s still in stock, we’d be happy to arrange for a new one to be delivered to you. If it’s not available, drop our Sparkle Squad a line and we’ll try our best to pre-order it for you.

How will my order be packaged?

Every precious sparkle baby you adopt will be swaddled in a cotton pouch and tucked snugly into a branded kraft box. We might also slip in some glittering confetti, nifty gifts and naughty surprises to keep you on your toes.

How do I track my order?

You can check the status of your order at any time using the tracking details sent in your purchase confirmation email.

How do I cancel my order?

If you’ve had a change of heart, you can cancel an order within 12 hours of placing it. Just drop our Sparkle Squad a line to request a cancellation. If it has been more than 12 hours since you placed your order, it will have already been processed and your cancellation will be treated as a return. Please refer to our Returns section for details.

Can I set up a wish list?

Of course, you can! Simply register on Sparkle & The Sinner to set up a wish list and enjoy exclusive benefits. Your wish list may contain up to 20 products that can be bought later or marked as gift ideas. Items on your wish list can be purchased at any time by simply moving them into your ‘Shopping Bag’. Please note that the prices of products are subject to change.

Can I order an item that is sold out?

If a Sold-out item has caught your eye and you simply cannot imagine life without it, fill in the Notify Me form to be the first to know when it’s back in stock.

Where can I ship my orders to?

At the moment, we only ship orders to locations within the United Arab Emirates.

I bought a gift for someone. Can I ship it directly to them?

Absolutely! We would be happy to ship a box of sparkles to them as long as they reside within the United Arab Emirates. Simply enter their name and shipping address in the comment box when placing your order. Don’t worry, we won’t include the invoice in the parcel.

How long will it take for my orders to be shipped?

Same-day 
Orders placed before 12pm for delivery in Dubai only are eligible for same-day delivery.

Orders placed on weekends and public holidays will be processed within 2 working days.

Unfortunately, Sparkle & The Sinner is unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time.


If no one is available to accept the delivery, you will have the option to arrange for an alternative delivery date or be given additional information about the collection of your order from the courier company.

How long will it take for my orders to be shipped?

Shipping costs to Dubai are calculated at the checkout. For other Emirates and remote areas, we invite you to verify if delivery to your location is available by contacting our Sparkle Squad.

Do you accept payments via Credit Card?

Yes. We accept Visa and Mastercard as methods of payment. Please select the appropriate credit card during the payment process and fill in the required credit card details. Your credit card will only be debited once your order has been confirmed.

Is the security code mandatory during checkout and payments?

Yes. For the security of online credit card transactions, it is mandatory to enter a card security code (CVC2/CVV2) at the point of purchase. This number is neither stored nor printed on any payment receipts. With this code, we can confirm that the credit card is physically present with the paying customer, thereby ensuring that it is not being misused for fraudulent purposes.

Do you have a Cash on Delivery option?

Yes. You can pay using the Cash on Delivery option.
